Asian Pop Record Covers

Click the images and you can get bigger photos.

These are 1960s-70s pop record covers from Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indoneisa, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand. Among them are recognizable  some familiar names: Anita Sarawak (Malaysia), The Quests (Singapore — right?), Carnabeats (Japan), Teresa Teng (Taiwan) and so forth. Also unmissable are the “a-go-go” and “yeh-yeh”, psychedelia in colors and fonts, and characteristic 45 degree profile of Dusty Springfield-styled charming female singers.
